Hazestack is a puzzle game for iPhone and the web, made by Scroll Wisely. This page explains what information the game and its advertising partner handle, and the choices you have.
- Your progress stays on your device. There are no accounts, and we run no servers that store information about you.
- The website has no ads, no analytics and no cookies.
- The iPhone app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some device information to show and measure those ads. Ads are only personalised if you allow it.
Information kept on your device
Your stars, tokens, Limbo streak, settings (sound and ball style) and level builder drafts are saved on your device: in the app's storage on iPhone, or in your browser's local storage on the website. They are never sent to us.
To delete them, use Settings → Progress → Reset in the game, delete the app, or clear the website's data in your browser.
Shared levels
When you share a level from the level builder, the link contains the level itself: its boards, rules and the name you gave it. It contains nothing about you. Anyone you send the link to can open it.
Ads in the iPhone app (Google AdMob)
The app uses Google AdMob to show an optional video you can watch for a token, and an occasional full-screen ad between levels. To deliver, measure and improve these ads, limit how often you see them and prevent fraud, Google may collect:
- device identifiers, including Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking
- your IP address and the approximate location it indicates
- information about your device and the app, such as model, operating system and language
- how you interact with ads, and diagnostic information about ad performance
Ads are only personalised when you allow it. iOS asks whether the app may track you, and you can change this any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In the EU, UK and other places where the law requires it, Google also asks for your consent, and you can change your choice in the game under Settings → Ad privacy. Without permission you may still see ads, but they won't be based on your activity in other apps.
Ads in Hazestack are limited to content suitable for all ages.
Google's use of this information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. See also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
The website
The website is served by a hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to run and protect the service. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or ads. Its font is served from the site itself.
Children
Hazestack is suitable for all ages and never asks you for personal information. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child's information has been collected through the app, contact us and we'll help remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to its use. Because the game keeps your data only on your device, you can delete it yourself as described above. For information Google collects through ads, use the controls above or contact Google. You can also contact us with any request or question.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
